Paul Aldridge needs to get his marching orders! Inept at closing a deal! Open ya eyes fellow Wednesdayites!

Patience is a vertue my friend.

Agree3 Disagree1

True, but it can also become a way of explaining away indecision. I do not know enough about what goes on behind the scenes to be able to judge, but I am wary of being drawn into the oft-repeated mantra, " patience is a virtue"

Think its about time Paul Aldridge got his marching orders!

Believable2 Unbelievable7

Whys that then because we are not panic buying or spending silly money but building a team that can compete and a team for the future

Agree6 Disagree0

Pity we cant sack some supporters who put totally pointless things on this site.To the original poster its a free country go and support a team thats throwing money about they havent got, it will make you a lot happier and all us genuine supporters that are prepared to be patient I have been patient for over 50yrs as an owl and never felt more optimistic about the future.grow up son and think where we were 18 months ago.

Agree3 Disagree1

I am quite convinced some of the anti management comments are not Owls fans. Having said that we had the bunch who thought it could be run as a Co-op and were not in real world so may be wrong.

Is anyone else getting slightly worried about how with two weeks left till the new season, where on 3 strikers and haven't got a good winger? Jj is good on his day but inconsitent. Yeah some may say theres still two week left, but is that enough to get new signings in the team and jell together as a unit before the first game as I believe the first three games are crucial to win, I believe in DJ but Im getting slightly worried we'll have a poor start

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Get a grip of yourself. And if so play with one striker and then pick from our 37 midfielders. O'grady still lives with us too. Suppose I'll get the he's not good enough rubbish now. Pretty sure we'll have one if not two forwards before the season anyway. Clearly nothing else to worry about?

Agree3 Disagree0

I'd be worried if the other teams in the Championship were signing loads of new players but apart from a couple of teams everybody seems to be waiting for the premiership teams to release there squads and then picking up the pieces from there. Personally been happy with the signings so far and glad there has been no panic buying as has happened in the past.

Agree2 Disagree0

To be fair to the OP, I think many will have a sense of apprehension. Last pre-season there was all the talk of ALF and a few others I forget and we got COG, Lowe, Lines and Mike Jones (forgetting the loans ofcourse.). We have already got rid of Lowe, O'Grady seemingly is not first choice, Mike Jones same... Basically my point is, yes, be patient, but sometimes yOu have to bite the bullet to get who you really want... Do we think last seasons pre season permanent transfers would have been Gary Megsons first choices?

Agree2 Disagree0

The same chap wrote similar post last week identical phrasing. Whiff of pork. Certain all anti management comments are either blunts or weeds.

Agree1 Disagree2

Not worried at all

Just shows what a Wednesday legend Brunt is that even when he plays for opposition in a friendly it is still big news for Wednesday fans that he won't play. Real shame! Just Check out the official website where he has been on the front for half a day now.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not a legend,Johnny Fantham, don megson, peter swann ,ron springett, terry curran.david hirst john sheridan to name a few chris brunt no legend

Agree5 Disagree1

I would say he would be well perceived by any wednesday fan and his efforts were well applicated. Especially that strike against L**ds

Ryan Lowe is a credit to his profession !!
He could have sat on the bench and drawn his money but he wants to be working for it !!
He's an example to a lot of the so-called "Premier" players who are content to pick up 10 times what Ryan is on for doing sod-all !
GOOD LUCK AND THANKS TO RYAN LOWE !

Believable14 Unbelievable0

In 10 years time ryan lowe will turn to his kids with us high flying in the prem and can say "i helped get them there" (i still think he had 1 more year left in him he could of given to us)

Agree6 Disagree0

We were very lucky last year to be blessed with some very highly professional journey men that came did there job and moved on the likes of RL RJ and one or to others got us promoted mission accomplished. They will be forever remembered for what they achieved for us.They have done that throughout there careers and can look back with satisfaction when we get promoted to the Prem the merry go round will start again,if we want a successful club this is what has to be done.

Agree3 Disagree0

Agree a true professional and a gentleman.
Would have loved him to stay another season and have a crack at championship

Agree4 Disagree0

Gutted he has gone never thought he was given a real chance by either manager dont know why great scoring record - personally rather seen him stay than COG - good luck pal think fans liked him more than management

Agree3 Disagree0

Don't think you can pull any of the players for what they did last season theirs no I in team just hope we don't change it to much all at once and do what leicester did and bring in players who are just interested in the money not the club or the fans the team of 11/12 will remembed as much as the one from 91
