In an attempt to save his own neck and avoid the sack Dave Jones says "you don't suddenly become a bad manager " and "just look at my record" .
So I did .
I have to tell you Dave you are wrong ........ you HAVE suddenly become a bad manager .
In fact you've suddenly become a SH**E manager !
You've suddenly lost a lot of matches !
You've suddenly lost the players !
You've suddenly lost the fans !
Sorry, but I just hope that I read very soon that you've suddenly lost your job !
And its obviously not your fault cos you're not to blame for anything so it must be the fault of the 25000 fans who cant make any sense of ANYTHING that you do.

Defo agree with above and the only reason i can think of why dj has not gone is mm must have a clause in dj's contract to pay him less in compo after a certain amount of games/time in charge.Uto

I don't think mm will sack him lord knows he needs sacking but mm will only realise this when its too late

Mm will lose a lot of money if we go back down us being his main asset will prob be 50% less than now. either he will wield axe n invest, or sell now n make slight profit or break even. i think it will be the first as he is very good buisnessman and can see potential (i hope)

He's been sharpening his axe for far too long time to wield surely

Well DJ I'm sorry but you do suddenly become a bad manager when you only win 2 games from 17 and in your own words look at my stats WELL LOOK AT THEM stop playing silly buggars and play the players 25000 of us want to see and you might (though I hope not) save your job

i am a season ticket holder and have been going for 30 years i saw 2 things last night that i have never seen before about 6,000 fans left at the final whistle of a league match and stewards guarding a players car after the final whistle - yep you guessed it JB's car - so if the stewards know people have had enough of him why doesnt Jones ? (i was excited about him coming how wrong i was one of the worst players ever seen) - well things are going from bad to worse i travel about 60 miles to see a game and at the moment its not worth even the petrol money - so SWFC can have my season ticket money and i will also renew next year but i will NOT go again until JONES has gone - MM sack him NOW for the sake of our glorious club and your investment - Jones has nothing to give as Burton was the real brains in that partnership - JONES GO NOW for everyones sake

It's funny coz arsenal fans are complaining too is that where Burton's gone

Well well 1 - 4 at home to Watford its humilliating, we have all seen things like this happen many times before with various clubs over the years. There are usually 2 reasons for this 1- the players in the team do not have the skill - backbone - or will to compete in this league or at this level. 2 the managers methods both on and off the pitch are not working, the manager has brought these players in and they are just not good enough, his team selection week in week out just amazes me , usually teams suffer from one of these problems we appear to be suffering from both, time is very quickly running out , something must be done now. The tems behind us have caught up the teams in front are leaving us behind, I have kept faith and tried to be possitive but now doubts and worries are forming as it do with our players its time for a change MM before its too late please DO SOMETHING NOW -eric the owl

Why is bothroyd getting picked every match he is always the worst player on the pitch but never gets dropped

Wot a glorious miss last night, if that was all he'd done bad it wouldnt av been as laughable but come on he'll still keep his place in Jones heart

If he had one leg still play in jones team cos he`s quality you know, Jones says so

im so thankful barnsley can sign players like buzaky tudgay and charlton fuller and we let players like beevers palmer on loan help other teams and we play players like jj out of place in defence and neglect the potential of rodri and madine and bywater, after all one time or another this season we were close to these players, but so thankful after all this we have taylor bothroyd!? uto xxxxx

Last night was one of the worst performances that I have seen in from a Wednesday side since I stared going at the age of 6 in 1950. but the worst part of the night for me was listening to Mr Jones of Radio Sheffield. Those who say stick with him should be made to listen to that interview, it was a lesson in don't blame me I'm only the manager, it's the players fault, stick with me, my record speaks for it 'self and then says he has never been in this position before. But other his comments made my blood boil for instance when asked why Madine and Rodri were not even on bench he said he wanted to shake things up. Now correct me if I am wrong but Madine and Rodri were on the subs bench on Saturday and when they did come on the forward line look much better, both Sidibe and Bothroyd never had a shot at goal all the time they were on the pitch so to shake things up Jones drops two player who were on the pitch for less that 20 minutes, yet plays a player who has not played for two and half years and is obviously not match fit, and Bothroyd who is worse than useless and who helped Watford to score of at least two of their goals and missed three of the simplest scoring opportunities of the night, Bothroyd should never get a game again, the rot really started when Jones brought him in and has played him every week even though he hasn't had a good game since he came. The fans can see he is not up to it why can't he see it but there again two weeks ago he said that the fans didn't know what they are talking about, well Mr Jones I think we know a lot more than you do at the moment.

Eight of the players that started the game Jones has brought in, Kirkland, Gardner, Helan, McCabe, Corry, Antonio, Sidibe, and Bothroyd and apart from Antonio who scored and worked his socks off the rest were in varying degrees rubbish. Some of the players that Jones has brought in are or were good players why can't the manager (after all that is what he is paid to do) get them playing. There was no passion, no organisation, no commitment and no confidence and that is down is what a manager is there to do, instil passion, organisation etc. No more excuses just results.

As a fellow member of the OAP section can't help bringing to mind that old black and white comedy,"Bunter of Greyfriars". The central character was forever going to see Sir to tell him,"'Twas not I,Sir,'Twas Bob Cherry". Remind you of anyone ? Bunter was a comic character, Jones is just a disgrace to his profession.

Is there a hidden agenda by the people who in charge of Wednesday. I just can't believe how mr mandaric sanctioned the loan signings of some of the thrash what has turned out for the owls, I mean is this jones is he for real he has two strikers who can't buy a goal but keeps on playing em then u got to centre halves who can't defend to save there lives but keeps em in, what the hell is happening it wasn't this bad under Danny Wilson! Get this muppet jones out an bring someone in who's not past his sell by date!

To the posters that are still supporting Jones have you thought about this, Mr Jones obviously thinks that Bothroyd and Sidebe are better strikers than Madine COG or Rodrie I ve seen Sidibe on the wednesday player and he comes across as being a really nice guy but he`s been off for over two years and if you look at his states not even managed 50 career goals yet and not likely too. JB record particular away from Cardiff is poor to say the least, he also thinks the young lad Helan is a better defender than Daniel jones or Lee, so can you explain what makes him a top man cos I just don't see it.

shocking result tonight...it has to be the final straw for jones...my first choice would be billy davies...hes the only manager to get us out of this mess

I think Davis may be a good choice, I also think Coyle could come in and make the spot his.

Wouldn't be my first choice but he is a good realistic candidate
