SG said he wants a 20 goal a season striker. Tonights star says he hasn"t ruled out a loan deal for Fryatt and signing Best. Hardly 20 goal men, maybe between them
If given a chance while the useless jones was ere we would still ave our 20 goal striker in Chris ogrady cause he got plenty playing for the dingles and his goals didn't keep them up but maybe just maybe if given the chance he deserved would have got us into the playoffs.

Came out of Wednesday shop other day and a bloke told me that it will be mostly loanee signings next season.
Was he wearin a red/white striped shirt an got a short curly tail
Well that bloke is an absolute genius! I mean us having loads of loan signings? I would never have guessed that one!
Most clubs will be mostly signing loanees. It's cheaper.

I would gladly take him back but I doubt he would come. He did not have a happy time of it here under DJ
I know he was one for the future and dj messed him up prefering bothroyd to a talented player!
Bothroyd aside I don't think many, if any players had a good time while DJ was in charge
I do not usually call players names but Bothroyd is an exception he was total garbage with no respect for fans or other players. Good riddance to him, and yes, I would have O, Grady back in a heart beat.
Cogba certainly banged plenty in for a lesser team last season.

I know that transfer negotiations cannot be safely publicized and that we are advised to be patient. However, am I alone in beginning to wonder if the silence that surrounds Hillsborough is simply and only good security? There are leaks and reports of activity erupting all over the place but none at all from us.
Perhaps I am just like a kid waiting for Christmas, but in view of the number of players going to other clubs and the significant holes in our squad, I am starting to get a little nervous. I hope that by the time this letter is posted there will have been news that makes me look a little silly.

Most players are on the beaches, and agents do not panic at such an early stage.
Patience is needed, and don't expect much action before July.

All players coming out of contract normally expires in June and July. all players offered new contracts by there club are valid for 30days so not much happens until mid to end of june

We won't sign anybody until the other 23 Championship teams have completed there business, then we will pick from the scraps. I know we showed signs of being a decent team last season, but unless we strengthen considerably, it will be another relegation scrap.
We'll Av to wait an see won't we
