can anyone clear things up to why newsnow has put swfc 1-2 huddersfield of last year as a latest bit of news feed is it a type or general error? uto xx

Does it really matter?

Well I was asking for a conversation, if it doesn't matter why are you contributing to the situation, does it effect your views or opinions.? so if your going to be negative for no reason be negative else where please! uto xxx

Agree0 Disagree0

My opinion was that in the grand scheme of things does a small computer error on news now matter, I wasn't looking to be shot down or be negative

What do people think to the next round draw. I think its one of those games that could be winable, depends on what sort of team they put out and where there priorities lie this year. I think its a long shot but still a chance of a surprise and with our squad looking strong who knows.

Our away form is very good City need to look at the premiership so maybe a weaker side but still a strong side. I do agree though there is a chance, let's just hope they underestimate us, and the game could as you say be winnable. Its a one off game anything can happen as we have seen so many times before with cup games. UTO

Its looking like we have a great squad this year which has an important element that seemed to be missing last year, team spirit. We seem to be battling to stay in games and fighting for points were last year we would have capitulated and lost games which is good to see. I don't see any other permanent transfers coming in before the window closes but I do see us getting a couple of loans in to help patch up the areas that look a little thin like defence or wing, although we don't desparately need them it would be more as cover for any injuries that may occur.

I think it'll be loans but the only problem with that is you almost HAVE to play them whether you want to or not. And if for instance it's a striker what does that do to nuhiu, may and madine? I want our players playing and improving not someone else's. I know we're thin so I would like to sign a couple of permanent midfielders / defenders but the striker department I would leave till we desperately need one. After all the loan market opens a week after deadline closes.

There is no way we will get any more strikers in when we are very thin on the ground in the defence and in midfield. Up front is the one area where we are strong with the players you mentioned plus Maguire so would be a waste of a loan

Agree0 Disagree0

If like mm said the takeover is on still and or is others in the wings if not, I don't see what the problem would be if they got players on a 4-5 month loan with a view to buy in January. At least if they are crap we send em back. I mean magine if we had paid for bothroyd we would be stuck with him!

Agree0 Disagree0

The squad is performing well but I think SG must be one of the best motivators we have ever had, he seems to be a Manager that players enjoy playing for. He deserves a lot of credit.
