Thank u for dropping Taylor & pls dj bring bk beevers xxxx

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Want to keep Beevers but think loan at this level is best for him and us at this time.
He would have to replace Lierra on left n he's been best CD for me?
While Lierra fit don't need him so let him get games under his belt with Millwall?

Agree7 Disagree1

Better than him warming our bench

After todays win, who wants dj out now? Xxxx

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Think it will take a longer run of good results to win a lot of us over.
Don't forget what happened after first 3 games of season when we thought all was well ? Where are we now ?

Agree3 Disagree1

Everyone needs to keep the faith

Agree4 Disagree0

There are either Blunts on this site or if they are supposed supporters must be miserable bunch who are still put out by not getting just what they wanted when club were struggling. If you can only moan and groan and make negative comments move on.

Agree1 Disagree2

50yrs+ an Owl & 30yrs a season ticket holder so I think Ive got a right to express an opinion without being labelled a blunt .
Theres a big difference between being realistic and seeing things as they are, and pretending that the last 10games don't matter cos we finally get a win.
Its obvious to anyone who understands football that DJ has strengths, but its equally obvious he has got weaknesses too. These have become glaring since Burton went.
Burton has been DJs right hand man through all his successes and I want to make sure we are backing the right man and one clean sheet in 13 league matches doesn't bowl me over .

Agree8 Disagree0

50 years an Owl and talking a lot of sense.

Agree4 Disagree0

Thanks buddy

DJ does have certain weaknesses, but you can't argue that he hasn't wrinkled some of them out. We started off conceeding 2+ goals a game and now it has only 1 in 7 games we have conceeded more than 1 goal (against Burnely) We have now gone one step further and have got our first clean sheet. Next is to get our finishing going on a regular basis. But I have and will for the forseable future believed that we have enough for a solid mid table finish.

Agree2 Disagree0

Needs some sorting out yet . 12points from 13games is not mid table form its relegation form so need to be winning all home games at least to be safe

Agree4 Disagree0

I agree that DJ like all other managers (except maybe Brian Clough) have thier weak spots but we have to have a little faith I believe DJ has started the recovery - the team are starting to gel more and more we are new to the championship its a learning process but we are learning, I have supported this great team for 59 years I've seen its ups and downs and believe me we can stop the gloom we are not on our way back down but up it will take time but we will get there. The team we have now is not the greatest but its good enough not to go down trust and believe we will do it UTO

No doubt Jones will continue to pick Kirkland. Before some one tells me it’s not his fault it’s remarkable how consistent he is. The man who has not kept a clean sheet for us in a competitive match - in 13 attempts is the same player who conceded over 100 goals in a season for Wigan and 9 in one match. Common sense tells anyone it’s not bad luck but if it was it’s so consistent – don’t pick him.

Believable0 Unbelievable7

You deffo have a point, thought it interesting DJ got the young keeper released by Everton ON CONTRACT, maybe he might get a chance?
But personally I don't see what Bywater done wrong, but then again a lot of last years players have done nothing wrong, just don't get picked ?

Agree2 Disagree1

The young lad from Everton is on month by month, don't think he's a ready just now. Bywater has been ill, so I think it was more as cover.

I think Kirkland has been quality but a big part of being a keeper is controlling defence, if he's not doing that, he's not doin his job.

Agree0 Disagree0

3-0 CLEAN SHEET wot u got to say now you have been complaining when we are loosing WHATS your complaint now ?? we all know u have one so lets hear it, PLEASE we are all waiting for your words of wisdom - in MM and DJ we trust - lets keep it that way and stop whinging its too early to whinge give us support not moans and groans - be possitive

Agree6 Disagree1

Not kept a clean sheet so thats all down to the goalkeeper ?? dont you think that our poor defence and oppositions attack might ave something to do with it ? you cannot blame one person but you seem to to think thats the answer grow up all those goals we conceded were not down to the keeper, unless you saw something we didnt if you did tell us about it dont just complain - explain

Agree6 Disagree0

I posted the original comment and I'm delighted with todays result. My complaint? It's taken Kirkland 13 THIRTEEN (you see I've got capitals on my key pad too!) competitive matches to keep one clean sheet. If he starts to keep them regularly I might have to think again but thats a long way off. However pleasing one result is, it's just that one result. We have lost to some dross in our recent run and we have to stop that and win regularly. I'm guessing the guy whose so fond of capitals is one of those who was daft enough to think we were contenders for automatic. I said then we were not we were a mid table team. But we are a mid table team not relegation fodder and we need to move up the table fast.

Agree0 Disagree0

The midfield has been too lightweight. That's why we are conceding too many. Kirkland has played well.

How can you blame Kirkland for no clean sheets. you say he conceded 100 goals at Wigan, I think you answered your own question there HE WAS AT WIGAN. He has also been playing behind of that donkey Taylor for half of the games.

Quotes by Dave Jones... "he's a player that I know a lot of championship teams were watching and is capable of 20 goals per season, this was him talking about Signing Maguire. Then he went on record to say "I couldn't believe it when his club said yes to us taking him on loan, to be honest it was just a cheeky inquirey". This was him talking about the capture of Rodri. Next was "he's got bundles of experience at a high level and will be a real leader both on and off the pitch". This was Dave Jones talking about Joey Mattock. Then he came out with this little beauty " you just know when he walks on to the field that a goals not very far away" this was him talking about Jay Bothroyd. Then he came out with his most amusing one yet " he's a real colossus on the pitch a real leader. His organising is fantastic and his desire to win second to none. When is club agreed to let him join us I was absolutely amazed to be honest. This was Dave Jones talking about signing Taylor from Watford. Now ask yourself this... If you were the owner of Sheffield Wednesday would you trust Dave Jones again with even more of your money to try to get you out of the situation that we're now in? Course not. Looks like the seasons only going to get worse then while Dave Jones is still around and we're second to bottom of the league as I write this.

Believable9 Unbelievable5

All these must have players and DJ has hardly played any of them and none for two games on trot ? Played a dozen games and nobody knows what first team is yet, inc DJ. When every other manager looks for a settled side , DJ makes 4-5 changes a game? Any wonder we can't keep a clean sheet !

Agree8 Disagree0

Couldnt agree more but on the brighter side we have started to look better in recent games and beating ipswich could be the kickstart we needed lets hope so uto
