To all the Dave Jones Haters.....do us all a favour and sod off down to Bramall Stain and watch Bury and Yeovil and sh1te like that. Then you may realise in your tiny minds what we have acheived under Dave Jones. The gulf in class to the championship is a big jump and YES it WILL TAKE TIME and NO we will not be in the Champions League in 2 years. If we can stay up this year we will be stronger next year with the experience the youngsters we have will gained this season. ITS TIME TO GRASP REALITY...we are a club reborn after we were hours from extinction. ITS TIME TO SUPPORT OUR CLUB.

Loyal fans are allowed to be critical when they see mistakes being made, and I think DJ himself would admit he has made mistakes. Nobody is perfect.
They pay there money every week and have a right to an opinion.
Most of them express it without being abusive .

Agree4 Disagree2

But it doesn't help booing certain players when there confidence is low when we all should be behind them

Agree8 Disagree0

In a way we are the players employers if it wasn't for us supporting our club they would not have a job and if your employee does a bad job you don't praise them for it you get on there back and voice your opinion and tell them to do better otherwise they will think its ok to be under par. we pay our money we deserve our say

Agree3 Disagree0

I am the original poster. We all have an opinion, which is fine, but it is how we express that opinion that is important in my opinion. If it is damaging to the teams moral (ie booing off Bothroyd with 20 minutes left to play) surely people can wait for the final whistle to let off their steam. Wednesday fans are the BEST in the world, but sometimes a small minority's negativity can spread to the players on the pitch. If their heads go down, its game over. UP THE OWLS! FTB

Agree3 Disagree0

I can guarentee if an employee is doing badly and you GET ON HIS BACK he will not improve and he will become disinterested, we should help and nurture them and show we believe in their talents christ i hope your not a boss! We clearly need to give them some confidence

i am baffled by the decision to keep jb on the pitch on saturday untill the 75th minute when we have to good strikers in COG and madine on the bench. Surely a player who is carrying an injury is going to be less effective then a pair of fresh legs? Also dave jones said danny batth wasnt good enough , but surely the current defensive situation shows what a good job he actually did uto

Believable10 Unbelievable1

Yeh did brilliantly last night didnt he :/ hope he plays on saturday.

Agree6 Disagree2

If Gardner and Taylor are supposed to be better than Danny Batth then DJ has lost his marbles altogether. Batth is young and should continue to improve unlike the other two clowns. DB's problem was that he was not a Jones signing. Every manager wants his own players but Jones has brought in some dross. We needed quality but went for quantity.

Neither was Antonio!

Agree2 Disagree0

McCabe looks decent.

Agree0 Disagree0

You have noidea why do you post nonsense on here! We cant go buying bloody messi we did the best with what we had and had to make a gamble on a few players with the budget and the position we are in!

At least we only lost by 2 goals last night. To be honest I was expecting to lose by about 4 or 5 and my mate reckoned even more. Wolves will hopefully only beat us by the same amount on saturday. A once proud Owl.

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Do we actually have a defence-coach ?

Agree3 Disagree0

Must agree with last poster, one of the easiest things to do in coaching football is to set up a team to stop the opposition scoring. When Jack Charlton took over we had been leaking goals like a sieve and with the same players - set up properly - we went 10 games without conceding.
Why is it so hard with all the possible combinations we now have in defence to at least keep the opposition down to one ? - AND we're struggling to score at t'other end also ?

Agree3 Disagree0

Footballs a very simple game its the players weve brought in there not able to play djs style of football in this league there just not good enough

Agree2 Disagree1

Yeah, I think we drafted Cocco the Clown in as defensive coach.

Dj will be sacked if we loose on sat, can't keep giving him chances, mm won't mess around he will get someone else who is up for the job! We need to sort thing out now befor it's too late! Uto

Believable3 Unbelievable6

I understand completely the desire to stay loyal to DJ - and the worry about frequent managerial changes, but it isn't going to,be as easy as it was in League1 to make up any leeway. MM can't afford to let us drift.

Agree2 Disagree1

Agree totally with first post. I'm grateful to DJ for promotion but that will count for nothing if we go straight down. The defending situation is a joke and the worst i ever remember. He reminds of Irvine during the slump in early 2011 totally clueless. Aimless changes which do nothing but make it worse. I think MM may give him until the Leeds game but if we get nothing from Burnley, Hull and Leeds it will be time to say goodbye.

Agree3 Disagree1

Good grief. I except playing of Boothroyd Playing Boothroyd was a poor decision and Taylor has been poor.
Gardner was showing good signs in Bolton game and will be an asset.
Overall defence could be much better organised and some signings yet to deliver. Just remember Reading were bottom of league last year after 10 games and lost 7 on bounce and went up as Champions so some of the comments need to be put in perspective. Also Huddersfield did a job on Blackpool the other night. It should be remembered the defensive signings with exception of Taylor all came on free transfers. DJ did not have a sackful of money to spend and you get what you pay for.

Agree2 Disagree0

Not many people noticed that Megson had zilch plus nowt to put his side together, and those players - COG, Samedo, Lierra etc - are still the best players we have, but DJ wants them out?

Agree2 Disagree2

Dont you see this is the problem you pick a manager they change things to there style and then you sack em and bring someone else in who starts again all this changing is not helping at all we will get a bloke next who starts again and gets rid of more players its ridiculous you need to give people a good few seasons to get balance right

Ok so this is old news, but i never did find out if we are actually getting a new score board or not. i know some people said we can't get planning permission but come on it's only a scoreboard how could we not get planning permission for that.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I think we have more to worry about than a new score board. Perhaps given present circumstances it will be set so the opposition score is shown as starting at 2 and any extra can be added.

Agree1 Disagree0

A random number generating score board for the opposition?
