Question, You are appointed Sheff Wed chairman and with current position of 14 points off play-offs and 9 points clear of relegation and just knocked out of the FA Cup! What is your next step?
A) Spend any little bit of money left over from the cup run on Connor Wickham's wages (prob between £100k and £250k) till the end of the season, even though we've got FA to play for?
B) put the money aside towards a permanent striker for next season when we can push on and get even closer to the promised land?
Dave Richards and Allan have already answered A, which nearly put the club out of business and into the basement division.
Milan has answered B, which is getting us nearer to our rightful place!

I cannot believe we've let wickham go to leeds! This shows our lack of ambition! And before anyone says " well at least we've got Madine back ". What's he ever done? Slow, not good enough in this league! Why do we keep letting our best loanees go? Lita, fryatt, wickham! These players scored the goals to keep us up last season. What's gunna happen now? Madine keep us up? Don't think so! I know Maguire, lavery, etc. Are good prospects but they need experience and proven goalscorers next to them to learn from! MM trying to do it on the cheap as usual.
