Well, 3 games under Stuart Grays coaching and 3 victories under our belts. Good appointment by MM and finally proving without any doubt that Dave Jones is not capable of doing the job. Results don't lie.

Believable12 Unbelievable7

You have no clue about football mate so when we lose it will be grays fault not jones
I smell bacon

Agree8 Disagree11

Orig.Post is absolutely spot on !
It couldn't be more obvious, like he says results don't lie and it would be one hell of a coincidence wouldn't it ? And like they also say - "theres non so blind as them that don't want to see " !
MM will have seen as well, hes not stupid - he'll just bide his time, might be weeks away, but DJ's days are numbered !

Agree11 Disagree6

Couldn't agree more about the effects of a new coach coming in. Most demonstrable case of cause and effect you could ask for.

Agree7 Disagree2

Absoloute tosh gray wasnt here for the barnsley game DJ picks the team and makes the changes that have paid off thus far

Agree8 Disagree8

The Barnsley game we were very, very fortunate - since then we've been very, very convincing - In all departments !
Like it says above, you can't see it if you don't open your eyes !

Agree7 Disagree2

So if we lose our next 5 games then it will be Grays fault ?

Agree2 Disagree4

You totally missing the point !
Nobody can guarantee a win .
But if you play badly, with no shape, no ideas , that will probably make a win impossible, which is what was happening !
Gray has come in , we have shape, we have ideas, we have a team !
That doesn't mean you win every game, but we had two great performances and two good wins, and a lot better chance of more to come now we got somebody in who knows what they doing !

Agree9 Disagree2

Last post - nail on the head!

Agree7 Disagree0

Jesus we could have brought zippy in from rainbow and you would be happy to give him credit Teams do go on bad runs Alex ferguson even went on one but when form improves does the 2nd in command get credit ?
Why is gray not a manager ?
If You want jones out who do you want in alot of jones players played today

Agree3 Disagree9

Still missing the point - see it how you want.
Merry Xmas, and 2013 will bring the answers !!

Agree7 Disagree1

Its just not realistic to ignore the Gray effect. Barnsley we were lucky. Up to then team selection, tactics had been poor at best. Gray comes in and suddenly our fortunes change. For me that highlights the relative abilities of two men to make the right footballing decisions. You've only got to look at what Cardiff fans say to see that there's a pattern with Jones the touchline monolith! Once Burton left he reverted to type: Gray comes in and things go back to what passes for normal and I, for one, am grateful Gray has come in. Now was that DJ's or MM's call? One beneficial effect of Gray coming in I haven't seen mentioned is that players who may not have signed for us before he came may now be persuaded to do so.

Agree3 Disagree2

I have family in Cardiff , and despite the playoffs they would have paid to get rid of Jones .
The majority of fans were fed up of his strange team selections and tactics which they all say cost them automatic promotion rather than got them in playoffs.
I believe it's same with us , not that much difference with players from start , middle , and recent matches ?
But without Burton at start and Gray recent we were dire at times in the middle of this patch when Jones was on his own - or with PW ( his choice !)

I have'nt beem able to get to many games this season but i've heard since stuart gray came in we've improved can anyone tell me just how obvious this improvment is? Results only tell half the story as we know

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Still early, but results tell there own story, improved almost overnight when he came , should have been here weeks ago instead of promoting PW who not good enough!
Dont know whos idea that was - DJ?

Agree2 Disagree0

I a few days you can not do much but players seem to be more calm and doing sensible things more calmly. Also they have a shape on pitch which has been missing since first couple of weeks of season. Think improvement is as much to do with removal of Wilkinson.

Today is the first day in a long time where I've felt like we might be in with a chance of getting at least a point. COW UTO WAWAW WTID.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Me too, until I read DJ's team selection. Bizarre.

Agree1 Disagree1

Can only assume set up like this to do a job ? Plus lot of matches in short time over hols so got to try and share it out a bit ?
Strange though that Lee not had a start when struggling for full backs then gets a start up front ? Perhaps Gray seen something that DJ n other coaches not?

Agree1 Disagree0

Just listened to 1st half on Player , Mark Smith says we look like a Champs team for first time this season, better all over pitch.
Lee played very well .
Obvious to me that Gray making a big difference.
Should have had a proper coach soon as Burton left n been comfy midtable !

Agree2 Disagree0

I like having the two full-backs at RM and LM because they are both quality going forward but offer solidity when we're not in possession. JJ was caught in possession and not tracking and it gives Antonio a chance to play a more forward role because he is not fit enough to track back for 90 minutes. 0-1 Wednesday at HT.

Agree2 Disagree0

Can see DJ wanted to reward loyalty by promoting PW and whatever says on here to change somethig such as assistant yu have promoted is a big decisio and not a easy choice. You are admitting you got it wrong.

Agree1 Disagree1

Exactly .... how can you expect DJ to admit he got it wrong ??

Agree0 Disagree0

It wouldn't have been a big decision for DJ - they're much easier to make when your boss tells you to sort it or else!
