Well, 3 games under Stuart Grays coaching and 3 victories under our belts. Good appointment by MM and finally proving without any doubt that Dave Jones is not capable of doing the job. Results don't lie.
You have no clue about football mate so when we lose it will be grays fault not jones
I smell bacon
Orig.Post is absolutely spot on !
It couldn't be more obvious, like he says results don't lie and it would be one hell of a coincidence wouldn't it ? And like they also say - "theres non so blind as them that don't want to see " !
MM will have seen as well, hes not stupid - he'll just bide his time, might be weeks away, but DJ's days are numbered !
Couldn't agree more about the effects of a new coach coming in. Most demonstrable case of cause and effect you could ask for.
Absoloute tosh gray wasnt here for the barnsley game DJ picks the team and makes the changes that have paid off thus far
The Barnsley game we were very, very fortunate - since then we've been very, very convincing - In all departments !
Like it says above, you can't see it if you don't open your eyes !
So if we lose our next 5 games then it will be Grays fault ?
You totally missing the point !
Nobody can guarantee a win .
But if you play badly, with no shape, no ideas , that will probably make a win impossible, which is what was happening !
Gray has come in , we have shape, we have ideas, we have a team !
That doesn't mean you win every game, but we had two great performances and two good wins, and a lot better chance of more to come now we got somebody in who knows what they doing !
Last post - nail on the head!
Jesus we could have brought zippy in from rainbow and you would be happy to give him credit Teams do go on bad runs Alex ferguson even went on one but when form improves does the 2nd in command get credit ?
Why is gray not a manager ?
If You want jones out who do you want in alot of jones players played today
Still missing the point - see it how you want.
Merry Xmas, and 2013 will bring the answers !!
Its just not realistic to ignore the Gray effect. Barnsley we were lucky. Up to then team selection, tactics had been poor at best. Gray comes in and suddenly our fortunes change. For me that highlights the relative abilities of two men to make the right footballing decisions. You've only got to look at what Cardiff fans say to see that there's a pattern with Jones the touchline monolith! Once Burton left he reverted to type: Gray comes in and things go back to what passes for normal and I, for one, am grateful Gray has come in. Now was that DJ's or MM's call? One beneficial effect of Gray coming in I haven't seen mentioned is that players who may not have signed for us before he came may now be persuaded to do so.
I have family in Cardiff , and despite the playoffs they would have paid to get rid of Jones .
The majority of fans were fed up of his strange team selections and tactics which they all say cost them automatic promotion rather than got them in playoffs.
I believe it's same with us , not that much difference with players from start , middle , and recent matches ?
But without Burton at start and Gray recent we were dire at times in the middle of this patch when Jones was on his own - or with PW ( his choice !)
