I just found this fictitious resignation letter composed by a Cardiff fan on one of their forums from a couple of weeks before he got the sack there. Does it remind anyone of anything...

"I have decided to leave Cardiff City Football Club as the club no longer match my managerial skills, commitment or drive.
I have played for Everton in a pretty well known local derby, and am a very experienced manager with lots to offer and a lot of clubs are after me. Sadly, the players I brought in to the club did not do the job required of them, and they let me down. I have decided to name said players, as its time the truth was out. They are Adam Matthews, Darcy Blake,
and Aaron Wildig. Just not good enough. Everyone else was fine. So i'm off. You people down here dont really understand the modern game, none of you were professional footballers, and i resent the fact that you all thought you had the right, nay, the qualifications to criticise anything i did. Vincent Tan has begged me to stay, so has Geth, but at the end of the
day I can no longer work without the necessary tools. Yes, i had Chopra, Bellamy, Bothroyd, Olifinjana, Whittingham, Koumas, Keinan, McNaughton and Burke.Yes, i chose them, yes I brought them here. But I didnt have enough luck.
My next Club (to be announced) has promised me all the luck in the world.

Goodbye, you people down here

Dave Jones

I am probebly the last person that liked dj but after playing sidebe n bothroyd up front that is it for me......

Is it just me that thinks this but has dj gone nuts? he loans out our best prospect cb to rivals millwall?? then our best scorer to RIVALS barnsley then gets loan in sidebe and keeps rodri and madine on the bench? WTF

Got a bad feeling madine and rodri might move on to great things beyond the owls...holt, Jerome, cresswell, kovacevic to name a few that for some reason couldn't get a game at Wednesday somehow went on to bigger better things! I say give rodders an madine their chance please whoever our new gaffer is! N next game let's take the roof off! WAWAW? COME ON YOU BLUE N WHITE WIZAAAARDS!

Dave Jones has been asured he's here for the season and will have money to spend on loans in January.

MM will make a statement confirming this in the coming week.

So please calm down its good news fellow supporters.

Im in the know!

Believable1 Unbelievable7

WHY would anybody say this is GOOD news?
Why would MM make such a statement anyway when he doesn't need to?
Why is money for more loans when you look at the loans we have now?
This has to be a wind-up !

If/when Jones goes who would you seriosly have as our next manager? How about Gary Neville? The list of unemployed managers is hardly inspiring! Same old journeymen. IMO Neville would be able to attract players and his links with Man U could be handy! I never liked him in his playing days but he talks a good game as a Sky commentator. Also involved with England....... Who would you have?

Believable2 Unbelievable1

I would have Gary Neville in a heartbeat .
Always make a point of listening to him on SS he makes more sense than any of the other so called experts, really intelligent guy.
Which is why IF he does enter the management rat-race , I think it will either be in England set-up or back at ManU when Sir Alex goes.
But if we could somehow persuade him he would be my NO.1 choice - bar none !

Agree8 Disagree1

I think one day GN will make a great manager but perhaps he has too little experience for the tough job we as a club would be asking of him. You have to be fair on DJ the man is not an person, far from it & if DJ is struggling then that speaks volumes IMO.
