I'm definitely a glass half full kinda guy, I have a good sense of optimism about what is happening round the club but recently on these pages we have a lot of people who aren't even glass half empty people they are glass completely empty with the glass smashed on the floor people. I have seen nothing yet to suggest we are going to have a bad season. We have played well in pre season and have already brought in two good players for the first team and a few development players too. There are a number of weeks left of the window so still loads of time for things to happen so lighten up and relax about the season to come. Yes if we have a bad start to the season feel free to come back and have a moan but till then have a bit of optimism and get behind the team we have had worse pre seasons than this before and done ok.

Mandaric has made clear current position. Personally I am glad we are taking our time over signings.
Many of the so called fans who write on these pages rarely go to matches and have little idea about football so you are correct not worth getting worked up about.
Others have their own agenda and are bitter the Wednesdayite attempt to take over the club failed and believe you can run a top level club on co-op principles. They still do not realise their efforts almost took us over the cliff.
Then you have Megson fan club who just can not wait for DJ to fail. Often writing spurious facts that bare no relation to reality.
Finally Trigger and Weed spend more time on these pages than their own trying to stir up trouble.
The vast majority of fans are fully behind the club and the way we are heading.
Unfortunately views on here are often made by unrepresentative minority.

Last post. I absolutely agree, it's completely transparent.

so the reason we have not bought anyone is because, there is to be a take over, what's betting by half way through season there's no take over, no signing of a good striker and where in bottom three again but we've all bought our season tickets.

It will not make any difference how much money a new owner has he won't be able to throw money at us due to fair play rules.

A new owner can throw whatever money he wants at the club. All he has to do is set up a company that wants to sponsor the MASSIVE for 1 year for 5 mill and hey presto, we are rich.

The new prospective owners inclde Kwok and Tsu families. They are extremely rich.
Aim is to have a super club and build new stadium to house 50,000 with capacity for expansion to 65,000. They want to eventually merge two Sheffield clubs and change to playing in Blue and Red stripes similar to Barcelone).
The deal will be complete within a month and have 7 year plan to accomplish all aims.

I am not a kill joy, but we must know what we are getting bvefore jumping into bed with a consortium. they may have money and great ideas, but they would all have to agree as to the road we were going down. we cannot afford to have money thrown at projects only for the consortium to fall out and leave us once again in the lurch and possibly a great heap of brown stuff. if m. m. and/or d. j. or their agents read these blogs please let us know that you are not selling us down the water for a quick profit. some of us do appreciate what m. m. did for us a few years back but we do not want those bad old days to return so could he please ensure the clubs safety before selling out to enjoy his retirement years.

A succesful team will always draw fans look at cardiff. If we were winning what's in the colour of a shirt. What colour have we played in in pre season and at home tonight did folks tun up.
Stop being a fool and realise all things change. I do not think we have always played in blue and white. Our original nick name was the Blades!
Don Revie changed leeds colours to all white to immitate Real Madrid.

You should go to watch Sheffield FC! and let's say a consortium became a success and we gained promotion, even wearing red. You and all the other wingers would be back. Possibly with a new angle to constantly complain about.
I don't care about the scoreboard, the colour of the shirt or who owns the club as long as we keep moving forward. Which we are.

Its hillarious how you think merging Owls and Blades is just a change to the shirt colour. You just don't get, do you?

Heard Madine maybe going out on loan to Brentford untill January, think that would be a good move all round hope fully get some games under he's belt and get fit, Brentford will give him games as well.

Are we having Donaldson as part of deal.

This sounds like a good idea, get him out of town for a while, where he isn't recognised and where everyone isn't taking a cheap shot at him, As long as he keeps his head down and works hard it could be the making of him.
