March is going to be a MASSIVE month for the owls. let's hope we carry on with our decent form against the top teams. Who knows, outside chance for the playoffs on this form UTO
We fear no one we are wednesday dave jones is our leader.
We've lost 1in last 11 games and barely got away from bottom - safety is enough to aim for and hard enough to reach! Forget any hopes of play offs!
We have kept top 6 form going for a dozen games. This is and longer a flash in pan couple of results. We currently have a team capable of competing at top end of this league. Unfortunately poor form in frst third of season whilst team were bedding int this league ruined any realistic chance of a top six finish. If we further strengthen during summer and hang on to players we have every reason to be optimistic for next season.
It is one defeat in twelve. Seven wins and four draws. Twenty five points in 12 games is promotion form, if we keep it going top half of table is a good possibility.
When we started this run there was a 12 point gap to the group above the bottom 4. If you look at table the gap has been closed and at least 12 teams now feeling uncomfortable. If we mainted present form 2pts a game until end of season we would finish no worse than eigth (using previous years tables and points).
Not ready for playoffs yet.
Why would we want playoffs this season?
If you do get to playoffs you would want to win them wouldn’t you?
But if you win promotion to Prem you have to be ready for that massive step-up, and we are way-way off that step-up to Prem yet!
Just be thankful that we look like getting out of trouble -- we’d have gladly settled for that 6-8 weeks ago!
