Don't know whether you lot have seen Benito Carbones twitter feed? Not even sure it's his genuine acct but Paul Thompson of the Star posted a link to it, so have no reason not to doubt it's actually him. To me reading between the lines it would suggest something may be happening at Hillsborough, he speaks of having many ideas and is getting bored of waiting because he's so excited. May be nothing, but just go and take a look and see what you think?

Well I certainly don't want Carbone as manager. He's done sod all. Wunt mind Nillson tho

Agree0 Disagree0

Its frustrating because some owls fans are naive, I'm not sure if the link with carbone is true but I would be prepared to get behind him I know he hasn't achieved a lot so far but if we don't give him a chance we will never know. PS I was just wondering what has Nillson achieved in his managerial career

Agree0 Disagree0

Discounting his first role as player/manager of money troubled Coventry (he was sacked for just missing the playoffs) his first proper managers job was at GAIS. The club was promoted to Allsvenskan in 2005 for the first time in six years. RN next moved to Malmo where he enjoyed little success during his first two seasons, finishing in mid-table positions in both 2008 and 2009. In 2010. In 2011 he finally managed to create a winning team, finally winning the league. Following his success at Malmo and having won the Swedish Manager of the Year RN was appointed manager of FC Copenhagen but after just six months and despite leading the Danish Superliga at the time, he was sacked.

Compare that with DJ or Benni Carbone all you wish. RN is a young manager, up and coming, who has managed in three countries, been sucessful, has managed in Europe and is available. Throw in his legendary status at Hillsborough and you have a pretty decent manager with bags of potential. Carbone? Perhaps as a coach or assistant but no way does he even begin to compare with RN.

Clough sacked, Mowbary sacked is DJ next? If we lose this weekend then surely we must change. Not being negative because I thought we were excellent last weekend.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Being excellent and not winning should a sack able offence. Mr Jones get lost

Agree0 Disagree0

If we lose on Saturday you would think MM would act, or if DJ has any Gonads he would resign

But it's never going to happen he is here until the new owners if and when they come in to sack DJ and pay him off

Embarrassing all round except if your a Dingle

so mowbary of middlesbro has been sacked because 10 games with no success, why isn't jones gone then? uto xxx

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Its obvious. New owners are in the offing so why sack him and have to pay him off.

Anybody fancy going to hillsbrough and standing out side the kop with some banners to see if mm will tell us the truth about the takeover and to see why dave jones asnt been sacked yet I've known mm to sack mangers for a lot less

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Great idea Si.
Make the banners and we will see you there.

Agree0 Disagree0

Assuming that the takeover is under discussion, it is unreasonable to expect Mandaric to discuss openly what is a very delicate negotiation. I too feel the frustration and impatience of not knowing our future, but if MM were to publish details before arrangements are secure, the potential buyers would regard that as a serious breach of confidence. No basis for sound business.

Just imagine if Tony Mowbray applied for and was appointed manager at The Sty. Sheffield could boast the 2 most boring managers in the whole league.
