Well wot a performance Friday night now lets hope all the negative comments about DJ and the team stop everybody could see wot was happening an now the team is starting 2 gel on the pitch The only way is up

Agree6 Disagree0

Did either of you two watch the game "what a performance" you must be joking and as for praising lazy Bothroyd you must have watched a differant game to me! Dave Jones out

Agree4 Disagree10

Bothroyd had a great game. I think the poster saying he didn't needs to learn about football. Go and join them at the lane - they are clueless too so you'll fit in well

Agree5 Disagree2

Bothroyds a massive waste of wages. He's scored 1 goal big deal doesnt make up for all the lazy performances he delivers!

A Leeds fan hear for two thing first to apologise for all the persons who think there clever with sick chants or violance let's hope he gets jail because I don't want him anywhere near Leeds ,by the way I include both sets of fans in that, but we all know they are not proper fans anyway the second thing was thought your midfield showed signs of real class in the first half so let's hope we both get to play in the premiership where we belong but these moronick fans don't join us.......kevlufc true Leeds fan ( sorry for the persons)

Let's talk about Football! Wednesday were absolute quality last night and deserved a win. Bothroyd played out his skin in the first half and then topped it off with a quality finish. Barkley and Corry were tremendous. Semedo, COG and Antonio battled throughout. The defence were solid and got very little wrong - not much could have been done about the equaliser in fairness. Kirkland made some top-drawer saves when Leeds eventually managed to get a couple shots off.

Agree with the above 100%. Did think Antonio battled and put a shift in, but final didn't actually produce enough. Remember we only had one up top, with made midfield look a little better and gave Antonio one less to aim for.

But don't get me wrong great derby performance!

Leeds were garbage we were garbage the game was just physical no good football you guys must be easily pleased that all i can say

Agree3 Disagree4

Neither team played particularly badly if you ask me we just kept Becchio and Diouf quiet and it payed off. As for the above poster we played some great football particularly in CM that triangle Barkley, Corry and Semedo formed controlled the game.

First half wednesday played really good football

Yes, the Istanbul chants probably did start all the commotion, but it was only a very small minority. I'd be surprised if it was more than 50 or even 30 or less, as where i sit which is next to the C entrance in the north stand (very near the away end), i didn't even hear any Istanbul chants, and only knew of them till after the game.

Some Leeds fans heard the chants, they got as near as they could to 'have a go' and as most of us didn't hear the original chants, we did what any fans would do, we thought they were generally wound up so we wound them up even more, by chanting general stuff.

More Leeds fans came over, and i believe the majority didn't hear the chants they just believed what other people said (or they were just looking for a fight), and after 5mins they couldnt do anything about it so they should of left. bottles, and chairs continued to be thrown after 5mins, police in riot gear came out and all the stewards/police were in the corner when the goal was scored, allowing some other c***s to come on the pitch in the middle a do what he did. that incident i believe had nothing to do with the istanbul chants, i bet he didn't even know about them.

Yet another Leeds fan on here to apologise to Kirkland and all Owls fans for the c*** who assaulted your keeper.
I am impressed with how many Leeds fans have been on your site to apologise and condemn.
I am, however, greatly disappointed in Wednesday fans as not one of you has been on our site to express any remorse in the slightest about the Istanbul songs you were chanting, which as we all who were there know only too well was the catalyst that caused the commotion. To hear songs sung to taunt visiting fans about dead football fans in a stadium with the sad history that Hillsborough has is shocking. Very disappointed in the massive indeed and i hope this is all blown over by the time you get to Elland Road and that game ends in peace.

Glad to see a decent post from a Leeds fan. I have no sympathy with anyone chanting about Instanbul, i remember the murders there and I deplore persons chanting about it. Having said that it does not justify the behaviour of the Leeds fans. DJ's comments I think were an (understandable) over reaction. like most Owls I'm no great fan of Leeds but why ban all fans because of a few morons?

Hypothetical again and not saying he should have done it. But what a statement it would have been if warnock would have taken his players off the pitch.
Instead of fa disciplining them, which will obv happen, if Leeds had punished themselves.
??

Warnock is a first class c**t tell he's a blade wtid me owd the owl
