Wednesday will only sign someone cheap I'm afraid, much as I love MM for saving our club but he needs to splash a little cash on players

If DJ needs players to go out, best bet would be to send a centre mid at least out on loan, we've gota lot - semedo, mccabe, prutton, coke, lines, corry - we can afford to let at least one go in this position. Hopefully Lines or Corry.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Yeah lines is struggling at this level and mccabe has been almost perfect recently so we should sell him

Agree0 Disagree1

Sell lines loan out Corry get rid of print ton I know he's done well of late but I'm not a fan that's jus my opinion though

Agree0 Disagree2

McCabe is going to be a very good player.

Earnshaw is not the answer to the owls scoring problems we need someone who has good energy with the ability to put the ball in the net a better probably more clinical version of COG once we have recruited someone like that we can move antonio back to the wings were he is more influential on the game!

Believable4 Unbelievable0

A very good analysis..

Agree3 Disagree3

As much as I would like cog to stay he may always struggle to hold place or score at this level so let's move him on an get someone who can do the business ie simoen Jackson

Agree1 Disagree2

Agree with post but would like to keep Lee and Halen in place and Antonio as foil for battering ram type forward.

Not really a rumour, but a point of view on how much we are likely to spend on strikers, had our board not tried to do Rotherham united over for LeFondre the other year(he was willing to come) he would be playing for us now.. he banged two yesterday for Reading..

Believable4 Unbelievable0

I don't think you have to convince us mate, its MM you need to work on!

We can't have helan on loan until end of season as he comes under academy
rules and we can only have him a month at a time

Believable4 Unbelievable0

That's good enough every month a renewal till end of season

Agree4 Disagree0

Sign him up he never play for city anyway

The hype for this season was built up by Mnadaric who made statements about going straight up. This was obviously designed to increase season ticket sales. It also had the impact of raising expectations of many fans. We struggled last few seasons in this league and without substatntial investment it was likely we would do so again. Some of our fans need to realise trying to build a team on a budget takes time and when they also have a remit to bring in young players and develop them. DJ needs our support and not criticism. I am not trying to say he has not made mistakes everyone does. Think failure to replace TB was the worst one but has now bee rectified. Boothroyd seemed a reasonable punt which failed to work ad terms of loan proved damaging. Taylor and Maguire have also not been what was hoped but ot all signings are succesful.

Believable8 Unbelievable0

I agree with most of your comments apart from the maguire one I believe he could be the missing link if given enough time on the pitch

Agree2 Disagree1

Agree with 2nd poster, OP spot on but I too think Maguire could do a job given a chance.
All the players who go on to become namesť have to start somewhere.
Who would you rather have on the pitch with you Maguire or Sidibe?

Agree5 Disagree0

Maguire hasn't had enuff game time send sidibe back loan Helan till end of season

Agree3 Disagree0

Are you suggesting it's okay that MM sold us false hope?

Agree0 Disagree0

I accept Maguire has not had a great deal of opportuities but believe you have to accept when he has played performance has been below what we had expected. He had shown promise in pre season but can not think of anytime in competative match he has impressed. Pleased you could see other poits made.

Agree2 Disagree1

MM has been consistent ever since he bought us.
He has always said we going to have a go, we aiming high, and then spent next to nothing on team.
He just tells the fans what they want to hear, a proper businessman.

Agree4 Disagree0

^^ I'm sorry mate but I can't remember maguire playing 2 games on the trott also goalscorers are that as long as they score does it matter how good they look?

Agree1 Disagree0

^ I can not remember Maguire scoring.

Agree1 Disagree0

I am suggesting fans should have been wiser and realised they were listening to a very clever businessman. Also appreciate DJ has not had funds which would make this league comfortable let alone challege for promotion.

Agree1 Disagree0

^^ I agree but how many minutes has he had and i'm talking minutes because it aren't like he has had as many games as madine, o'grady, sidibe, bothroyd and now even Antonio playe there

Agree2 Disagree0

Folks keep suggesting which centre forwards should and shouldn't be playing but the when they do get picked they don't score anyway. Madine, Pecnik and Maguire.
I don't think game time is the issue because I would expect any player to want to prove a point when given the opportunity, yet none of them have.

Agree0 Disagree1

Accept poit not been given a lot of opportunities. Just looked hopeless in those few minutes.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't mean to be cynical but would you be happy if we judged your career on minutes rather than weeks or months at the end of the day he deserves a fair crack at the whip

Agree1 Disagree0

Always take opportunities, but these lads haven't.
Don't be such a drama queen, they HAVE had more than a few 'minutes'.
