Get MM out At least when we were in debt we could get players to come to Hillsboro. We are the laughing stock of Yorkshire If a fat and lazy player like Mellor won't come, what chance have we got of getting anybody half decent.

Mandaric saved us from going bust and in less the 12 months theres idiots clambering for him to be sacked

were in league one were not going to attract the best players and the transfer window hasnt even shut yet

Mandaric is not willing to purchase anymore players he has rebuffed megson and told him to look in the loan market only.
Expect a huge fallout before the beginning of the season. Whispers around the training ground indicate Milan feels he has spent enough and has had no return, he will only spend in jan if we are in play off contention. Gary megson is furious.
This is absolute rubbish we have had bids rejected fo Danny Green, O'Grady and others, and we have spent nothing yet, Megson may not have as much money as he would like but this is same for most managers.

Believable0 Unbelievable5

If we can't afford more than £250k on O'Grady (when we've recouped £500k from sales) then we really are toast.

Let MM walk away. Lets take a points deduction, at least that way we have an excuse for when we get relegated.

Believable0 Unbelievable4

What are you on about? Why take a points deduction - we aren't in any debt. If MM does walk away we still won't have any debt.

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course there would be a debt. MM would not just walk away without recouping what he had already forked out.

Agree0 Disagree0

The only way there would be a debt is if MM made a loan note of £7m when he paid that to the Co-Op. I don't believe the club currently run an overdraft. However you would be correct in thinking MM is likely to value the club at more than £7m now he has wiped £28m debt off

much as I'd prefer not to believe the Megson furious story there seem to be very good reasons to be concerned, principally GM's public complaints in the Yorkshire Post about thelack of progress. True, he has made some good signings but agents seem to be looking for wages of £3-5,000 a week more than MM is prepared or more probably able to pay. That is obviously the stumbling block with Mellor and I imagine is the factor that sank the Dyer deal. It makes January's spending round seem even more wild than it did at that time.
