Well, 2 defeats in a row! Back to reality now. And 2 more coming up on sat and mon, same old story lacking quality up front until we get a quality striker we are going down!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agree we are going down. Down to wembly! Think positive. I hate derby they annoy me. They such a jammy grrrrrrr. "breath" we could have a team of messis up front and a shermen tank in goal, derby would still jam it some how!

Agree0 Disagree0

The reality is 2defeats in a row against two of the best teams in the division?
In reality Grant played a blinder and kept a clean sheet, and Derby scored with a worldly! Should have been 2up before Wigan scored!
All this after we lose both Semedo and Lee, the heart of the midfield in quick succession.
What I see is a side that even when weakened is competing with the better sides in the division.
Can't argue that we are not converting enough of the chances that we are creating, but Wenger, Moyes, and Rodgers have all said same in last two weeks, that's football.
Suarez, Rooney, RVP, all - quality up front - but it still doesn't guarantee you goals, ManC were getting 4-5 a game till couple weeks ago now they not finding it as easy to score!
We just have to keep doing what we are doing and we'll be OK this season. Hopefully MM will find the means to introduce a bit more quality up front in close season, and I think we have a star of the future in young Caolan Lavery he'll be ready to play a bigger part next season, maybe even this season yet?
But we have to remember how disastrous the first half of the season went and how well we've recovered since.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with the last poster on this thread what you say is true.
HOWEVER, I am worried that we will go twelve league games without a win. Huddersfield need an home wn so suddenly it could be three on the bounce. it soon can become a runaway train. Antonio is a good player but
was among the side that lost 7 in a row last season and went 12 without a win at the start of season.
Not is fault just a bad omen I think!

Agree0 Disagree0

We lose a couple of games on bounce then negatives come back out of woodwork again, we are going down blah blah blah, change record.

Agree0 Disagree0

Worried we will lose 12 on the bounce.
How do you get through each day?
Should try Citalopram.

Agree0 Disagree0

To the poster who is worried we might go twelve without a win.
Save your money and stay at home if I was you, because if you can't see the difference in the performances since Stuart Gray took over, and you think that Antonio is the reason for the early season bad run you are wasting it.
One man was responsible for early season performances, if you read and listened to interviews with any of the players since Gray took over they've all, to a man, told us what the problem was!
OK they didn't all name him but they didn't have to, we all know who they mean.
We have enough about us to more than survive this season and I think MM realises he can't gamble on same again next year so we will strengthen close season.
My only worry is we seem to be picking up a serious injury every game at mo but that's just bad luck, and we've never been short of that!

Agree0 Disagree0

Sure I can see that difference Stuart as made, The only thing is this league can be so difficult at times.
If you look at the odd results pattern of some teams throughout the season. Stuart did well when he had only a small compact group,
Lee, Semedo, Maghoma and Maguire. Of course we have lost 2 of these for a bit! With Antonio he is often the main man but previously our results have been poor.

Why are we playing in the league on Saturday and the cup on Monday.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Simple - because we have to, we don't decide our own fixtures?

Agree0 Disagree0

Is it because a Frenchman says so

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah, fa cup games not allowed to be scheduled on European nights. Stupid ruling not sure that us or charlton are in any danger of conflicting with Europe.

Agree0 Disagree0

Unless a frenchman runs the fa

Agree0 Disagree0

Who knows who will influence the F A and its Cup in future years

Agree0 Disagree0

Alex fergusen probably. :- (

Agree0 Disagree0

Does that mean that fergie time will be automatic.
