I'm not taking you up on that. Mandaric says he wants 2 extra players and Marshall. So Marshall on loan if we can (it don't look good) and 2 free or cheap players. splendid.

Spending excessive amounts of money is what got us into the debt we were in many yonders ago. I'm not saying Marshall isn't worth the money,he is, but It needs to be a good price for both clubs.

I've seen that thomas priskin contract is terminated. I think he could be a good player to sign but I don't think every one will agree. In my eyes he could be a good punt.

According to the Star, Mandaric is willing to back Megson financially over the recruitment of Marshall even if it's just a loan.
So the battle isn't over yet,especially as Pullis is chuffed to bits with his development at Sheff Wed.

By the sounds of it it's Marshall and is agent that's holding things up as Stoke want to sign him but who no,s think Stoke owe us one for Glen whelan which they got for 500k

Marshall is obviously enjoying his football with us and the admiration from the fans, so I'm sure his first choice is to fly with the Owls.

Now signing Marc Pugh from Bournemouth seems a much more sensible option - a thorughjly professional & talented footballer, he shouldn't cost too much and he's a Northern lad. Looking at Saturday's performance we really someone with abit of guile who can run at defences and open them up.

Pigs have got charlton,huddersfield and mk dons next three matches and weve got hartlepool,Scunthorpe and stevenage so we will catch them so im not going to worry about what the pigs are doing uto ftb

We have scored just 20% of the time with a long ball, the remainder has come from wing/midfield play - Jones looked out of his depth on the right wing...and Marshall didn't look any better. The Charlton tactic worked by allowing them down the line on their 'wrong' foot and we didn't deliver any quality into their box...if we had we would have won comfortably against a very average team.

So all we had to do was swap the wingers over early in the game. Pretty basic really. Laws used to do it regularly.

Bit enjoyed at gm giving up and saying charlton will win league I did not think they ware all that special and we had the better chances to score unless it was a dig at mm over the Marshall transfer very strange with 21 games to be played

Don,t underestimate Megson in psychology department. Statements like that can play on opponents minds - and fire your own players up to prove you wrong , so don,t just take it as read.
