Rubbish. Not only completely made up but completely illogical. Why would we spend so much on a player and only offer him a two year contract?

We have done nothing of the sort. Firstly Bates would probably want more. Secondly Warnock would try and talk him out of coming here. Thirdly the player himself would probably see it as a side ways move. From one Yorkshire club whose future is uncertain to another, albeit we seem to be on the up, Leeds with Warnockio in charge are probably going in the other direction.

Don't get taken in by the Warnock propaganda machine. He has taken two clubs to the Prem. Pigs which took him seven years. QPR with a huge budget. He will have neither time nor money at Leeds - lets see what he can do. He'll be gone in 12 months.
