Before Xmas when Wednesday won 4 drawn 3 lost 14. I was on here saying Wednesday had little chance of survival after losing 7 in a row.
Alot of punters disagreed with me on that.
I have bit my tongue for the last few months.
I hold my hand up and say 28 points from 15 games since is better than any of us could expect includiing me! but we lost today and with 9 games to go we are still in dire trouble. Most of the bottom 8 teams are doing as well if not better than us. although about 12 teams now are pretty close.
it looks like we may still go down. Peterboro, bristol and Barnsley are better than Wednesday even though we have improved. How can we get above 3 teams? Which 3 teams can we get above? I hope we stay up but I stick by my prediction before Xmas with a very heavy heart.

We have had some very difficult games lately my friend.
The result against Leicester was not expected.
However, we now have a run of matches against teams that we should beat.
Lets see what happens from now until next month before we get to upset.

Fair comment but if we carry on playin like today we will be in dire straits. Hope i, m wrong obviously, but our style of play is shockin. Even though we, ve been pickin up the points the style is rubbish. We never looked like scorin today. Been watchin us since 1955 an will continue to so but any more performances like today an its going to be close

JONES OUT if gray had not come he would have been sacked earlier.

Nothing like a good old relegation scrap to finish the season. Sod mid table we wouldn't be wednesday if we didn't leave promotion or relagation till the last day!

I agree we were awful today, but we played very well at Leicester. Not time to panic yet. We lost against top of the league who were very organised if unspectacular today, but they certainly weren't rubbish and we should not over react.

0-0 would have been a fair result on Saturday were it not for the return of Calamity Kirkland. His fault for both goals. Poor punch for first and stood doing nothing for second.

Kirkland is a good keeper.
