Would love to see us either buy Marshall or at least keep him on loan till the end of the season but im afraid it's looking less likely to happen by the day! Can see us keeping Bywater and Batth tho, just a shame Megson don't seem overly impressed with Beevers cause he would do a job next to Rob Jones i think.
I think bywater and bath are a given, the problem is Marshall and I think we will get it sorted .
I have to say that the signs get stronger every day that WE WILL SIGN Marshall. Did you see him kiss the badge when he scored on Sat ? GM's not trying to talk down the possibility of signing him, and given that he talks to "Tone" at Stoke regularly I'm sure he'll have a good idea which way its likely to go.
Yes just watched this. Had exactly the same thought about Marshall. Reyt goal as well.
However, that last goal despite the obvious class Rhodes has was a shambles.
We need Buxton back ASAP.
Also, I reckon we will get him on loan til end of season where he will then make his decision on whether we get promoted or not.
Couldn't blame him for not wanting another season in div 1. Not with that class.
