Not going to have a go at mego cause he's done wonders this season but felt he made first mistake in a long time yesterday!
Before they scored we were playing them off the park, that took the wind out of our sails but I believe if we had stuck to the players and style of play that has worked all season we could have got something! For some reason with half hour to go mego panicked and we ended up with an unrecognisable team and shape, and we just lumped it forward. It was pretty plain from then on that we wouldn't score! Keep the faith though we have the easier run so let's get back to what we've been song the rest of the season! Up the owls!

I think people are silly if they don't think koumas couldn't do a job for the owls

He's been available to anybody that would take him on for best part of twelve months and nobody has offered him any sort of contract.
Megson is one of his biggest fans so if he's not interested I'm prepared to trust his judgement .

Koumas never ran when he was at his peak , his strength was controlling games by having lots of the ball and pinging passes for the proper runners.

We were poor yesterday. Most worringly, we lacked ideas. Removing both wingers, even if playing badly, is poor management. The desperate tactic of putting 5 big lads up front, banging the ball up and hoping for the best simply isn't good enough.

Marshall & Jones were doing very little so you have to change it don't you?
The real problem was unfortunately it was one of those days when too many of our lads had a bad day together, and we don't have too many options either.
But when you're also playing the best side in division it shows up even more.
That's why we need more quality in the squad , a better player even when he's below par will still make a contribution at this level.

After seeing the game today, you realise that Charlton are a small and physical side with quick feet. That is why they'll win the league.
Now it's a battle for 2nd between United, Wednesday, Hudders, and MKDons.
As a fan, I see Wednesday getting it.
On style of football, I see Huddersfield getting it.
But Unfourtenatly, due to results and goals, I see United getting it.

I have a computer programme which analyzes the division by results. That programme supports your view 100%. Of course, result- patterns may hopefully change but what is clear for the moment is this : we may have enough strikers numerically , but unless we can get someone who is sharp in the box we are at risk. We are winning games by the odd goal when , in terms of general play,we should have won much more easily. Goal difference will not favour us unless the problem is addressed.
