Can I just ask folk on here if pompey go under then how does it work filling the gap left by them in the championship? Do 1 extra team go up? So like top 3 in League 1 and another via play-offs so like play off's would be 4th - 7th place, or is it one less go down for a season? or something else? how does it work?

Not sure but I expect it won't happen anyway - although they probably deserve to go bust (not fans or employees but those running the club). But shouldn't forget it could have been us last season. Back to your question - I expect they will only relegate 2 teams from the champ with the usual 3 going up from league 1. Can't see us beeing that lucky to get a freebie automatic spot. However that will leave league 1 witha team less so further tinkering required down the leagues which will ultimately result in either 1 more team promoted from the conference or only 1 team being kicked out of league 2.

I am from the future we will get promoted from second and utd will lose in 1st leg of play offs to notts county and we will sign jay bothroyd , adam driver and jason koumas and the world will end in 3019 .

Lets hope we've made it ot the Premier before that! Would love to be able to take my son to see some decent football. They may have the technology to clone Chris Waddle by then, could have him playing left and right wing!
