Finally, the end of Billy The Blunt rumours. Mandy has said we've pulled out.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Who told u this?

Agree0 Disagree0

No he hasn't

Agree0 Disagree0

He has knew it was too good to be true I wonder who's next on the list gutted!

Agree0 Disagree0

It was on tv

Agree0 Disagree0

He would not fit with the way we play, think this was a smokescreen or to get others to move on and make mind up about accepting terms or releasing players.
Sharp does not fit all scenarios, he has failed to score in certain set ups. Playing on break with fast wingers would not suit him he has no real pace.

Lita and Luke moore are set to leave Swansea on free deals Swansea chairman says they are waiting for them to sign for teams

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Swansea might want them to leave on free's but until they pay Lita off for what is likely to be a drop in his wages he won't be going anywhere which is the reason he has not joined so far in my opinion. I think DJ/MM when ahead and recruited others first with this in mind. Now we need others to leave for anything to happen. I think that the crunch for Swansea will come just before the transfer window ends as they will want him to go and he's holding out. It depends on who gives way first - I think Swansea will pay him off and he will then sign for us at the last minute.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you are correct re pay off. When players on big money they are happy to get them out of the door hence prepared to let them go for free, but players know this and want pay off. Think Pugh is same with Leeds.
The clus will do sums just before transfer window closes and you will see movement.

Agree0 Disagree0

Luke Moore is 100% not joining us. He is off to Turkey.

I have been thinking that dave jones gets sacked after poor Start? Who would Milan get in gus poyet for me would turn us into decent team and get us into premiership

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wasn't it Gus Poyet who was described by his players as the worst man they had ever dealt with and was then sacked by the board? Something about mocking the mistakes of individuals? Know
you can't believe everything you read in the papers but it is not a particularly good reference if it is true.

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently a horrible man is Poyet.
Think DJ is safe he his managing on meagre budget remember megson fell out with Milan over investment.

Agree0 Disagree0

All you owls older ones like me can you remember big jack did not take us up overnight but in division 2 it was a case of gradual progress, with parachute payments its even harder for the clowns that say scrap the development team WE HAVE GOT TO DEVELOP OUR PLAYERS BECAUSE WE HAVE NOT GOT MONEY TO BUY ANY. Be patient owls we will be ok.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow a fan with common sense where have you been hiding or have your comments just been swamped by all the fools on here. Too many people wanting instant success and expecting that we should be challenging for the champions league by now. I'll be more than happy with high mid table this season, get a few of the development squad some games and build for the future.

Agree0 Disagree0

I also harbour the same philosophy, so you guys are not alone.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we would all be happy with mid table. For many of us it is a worry about getting there with the current tactics, shape and team selection. Yes, we remember Jack Charlton with affection but that was a long time ago and not at all relevant to what is happening now. There was no criticism of Jack when he had to struggle through because we could see what he was doing and he was being increasingly effective.

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair, JC didn't get us out of the second division.

Agree0 Disagree0

The promotion side from division 3 andy mac, Terry curran would beat the side we got a moment.

Agree0 Disagree0

Legends, but not quite that simple.
