Been a lot of talk about loan players on here. Imo opinion 3 of out best loanees were in the 2004/5 season when we won the play offs. Kenwynne Jones, 7 goals. Scott Carson, lost 1 game with him in goal. Ian Turner, lost no games with him in goal. mik
Jones was with us in 04/05 but carson was end of 05/06 and turner was 07

Looks like matt Fryatt, Connor newton and roger Johnson to be the first players Stuart Gray will try to sign. Only Johnson would cost a fee as still has a 1 year contract left at wolves.

Sure that Johnson would be a loan until his contract up next season, due to high wages and wolves fans hating him.

Wolves would be happy to get rid of Johnson for nothing in fact they may pay for us to take him.
Agree he was inconsistent for us but actually thought he improved with games. When he arrived was not fit and had not played for 12 months, which has to be taken into consideration when judging performances.
