Does anyone agree that yes the signings we've got upto now are good, but realistly dj should have a cash injection in which he's capable of splashing on better Player, yes we've spent on Maguire and amado, but in my opinion, this could be the year where we maintain a promotion push for where we belong, but we need to get some high championship/lower premier league players (eg, whittingham, bothroyd, ebanks-Blake) And be serious comtenders! UTO.
Bit premature - don't think we've finished with the signings yet ??
The players we've signed up to now were mainly out of contract / or not wanted by the clubs holding their contracts so it made sense to get in quick before anyone else did . The better players as you put it can only be approached through their clubs, most of which are only going back to work this week so now is when the "money" signings start.
But at the end of the day what you pay for a player doesn't matter, its what he gives to the team that matters isn't it?
