Think inidividuals need to realise without substantial funds improvement will be marginal. Persoanlly think we have improved squad significantly since promotion. Current team has only one loan player (2 if you count Martinez) where has last year we had 4/5 in team. Having said only marginal improvement I do think difference between top teams and bottom is not great hence if you do get it right dramatic progress can be made. If we can get anothe one o two development / academy players coming though in next 12 months and a couple more signings in Maghoma / Lee class next summer and shrewd use of loan system relegation struggles will be well behind us and we will be looking upwards.

Lee is a proper footballer he does the
basics right! Shame he had a bad start to season due to operation.
When he was at Oldham he was recognised as good pro with a good appearance record! Was highly rated there! good players can always make the step up apart from injuries that may stunt them!

Think MM was correct when he said we are now playing as a team instead of individuals. Helping show we have some useful players. In addition to those that played yesterday we have Antonio and Gadner to come back who are 2 good players. Think Halen has lost confidence some of his peformances last year were excellent I suspect a little time out of side and introduction to a winning side will show him to be useful acquisition as well. Halen is younger than Palmer a fact which is often forgotten.

Yes a god comment about Helan he is young and young players have dips in form! Yes he is younger than Liam and Liam too as had ups and downs in form. Liam benefited from playing at tranmere last year.
Probably because Helan came from outside the club people expect them
to be brilliant all the time, he is a talented boy and he will come back!

Sunderland do not want or need to sell and they know game time at Wednesday is improving their asset. He is not yet ready for Premier league but another 20 games will help prepare him for step up. if he can get 20 goals in Championship which is possible, they can assess in summer and if does not fit in with plans (they could e in league 1) they will have an even more attractive asset to sell.
