I agree with the fact we are developing and giving opportunities to young players such as Lambin. But to be honest we need to be signing some experience, players such as Lambin will be good in the future but at the moment we need to get in the top flight or those type of players are just gunna leave to bigger and BETTER clubs. Unless we start spending money all I can see for this season is another relegation fight.

We have signed a 21 yr old (French) striker "Khalil Lambin" on a 1 year contract but have stated he is 'one for the future'. Make sense? lol
But they have also stated he has pace and done well in pre-season so could be thrown into first team.
(guess we'll have to wait and see)
Unless we get a guaranteed striker who is going to score goals we are not going to have a good future and the so called ones for the future will go to bigger clubs

It is clear that we haven't had much money to spend in this transfer window; but I agree with some other supporters that jones could have done better wheeling and dealing in the transfer market - particularly with players out of contract. But who do people think we particularly missed out on. Here is my list:
Defence midfield (instead of giving prutton a new contract) - craig eastmond (released by arsenal) or frederic veseli (released by man utd)
Attacking midfield (instead of coke) - Harry forester (out of contract at brentford) or Alan judge (free from notts county) - both can actually pass a ball!!
Forwards (to replace o'grady) - chris Martin (released by Norwich) or out of contract 20 goal Walsall striker will grigg (both have already scored 2 goals this season).
I realise because of there age forester and grigg would need a fee but relatively small by the looks of it.
Who else do you think we missed out on? (especially by giving some very average players new contracts. )

Heard a rumour we have signed Khail Lambin 20yr striker for the development squad. Thought we were after a 1st team striker but we haven't got the money but we can sign a development player. Blooming crazy
Developement. on a "1" year contract.
Do you, like myself feel confused with where the sense in this is, when its the first team that needs help and additional players! If they are signing for the future, they need to secure a player foir more than one year as I don't see the point in developing a player for him to leave at the end of it as "White" did.
DJ has stated that we need to sell before we can buy, but it looks like money is available for development squad, so if DJ wants a player but no one wants to go, maybe he's buying them and just saying they're for the development squad, or maybe development squad players aren't subject to the new 'fair play' rules.
