Think a bit of European flair is potentially great for the owls but would like a proven championship striker maybe kev Phillips (could be a great impact player who still knows how to find the back of the net!)

Idea is sound but not Philips, he was used very, very, sparingly last season and nobody goes on forever ?

He started most games inc play off final

Check the facts - he started ONE league game and made 20 sub appearances, most of those in last 15mins!!

Phillips will find it very hard to stay in Champs this year , and he can't help us . He's been a great player but nobody can hold back the years !!

We should be discussing players that could sign for us rather than players that won't?

How do we know who is likely to sign ? We only know after they've actually put pen to paper and signed.

Varney has been quoted saying he's heading to Leeds. Also said reason was that none of the other clubs interested in him were of Leeds' size :L Hello?? MASSIVE!

Don't think we are interested in him. There's been a few wild rumours but nothing serious and I for one don't want him at S6

Varney is now a journeyman football is full of them who drift from club to club picking up signing on fees play well initially then fade moved on the following year and the process starts again agents love that kind of player.And yes I know he played well for us but why isnt there a long line of Championship clubs looking at him dont think for one minute DJ interested.
