Wouldn't it be nice if we could have a statement from the club?

We would all love to hear from our new owner.

Clearly we don't expect to hear all the details but a few crumbs of information would keep the fans happy.

1.) I agree, I wanna hear what he has to say and what his plans are, until this happens I'm still not convinced he has bought us!

2.) He's not the new owner yet until the FA ratify the proposed deal. He can't speak about something in which he legally doesn't yet have an interest. What would be the point if the FA then didn't ratify it and it all fell through. Would you then say we'd been fooled again! Give the process chance to complete then we may find out what his intentions are. To me the silence is what I'd expect just now.

3.) Totally agree, the wait is totally to be expected. I'm sure he will tell us everything we want to hear once his position is confirmed and expected.
The impatience is typical of a lot that's wrong in society today, sometimes the best things in life are worth waiting and working for, not everything can happen in an instant

4.) Personally I prefer a quiet owner rather than one in pulic limelight.
Think when ratified signings will start to come through.

5.) Interesting article by Rob Wilson in the Star, maximum spend this coming season to stay within FFP rules would be £8m.

6.) Thats sustantially more than we have had in last couple of seasons.
Thought article was rathe shallow as it takes no acount of any shirt or stadium sponsorship, which could increase figure considerably.
