Heard a young striker called Yaya Sonago is signing on loan until the end of the season from arsenal. There's some good reviews on him. Hopefully will be are new wickham when he's gone.

1.) Would be nice. He's an extremely good footballer.

2.) On Radio Sheffield as well, that SG has no interest in Leroy Lita.
SG also commented there was little chance of anyone in before the Burnley game. Didn't sound too hopeful about Fryatt returning either. So where are all the goals going to come from after Wickham goes back?

1.) We have just scored another 4tonight. Nice to see 4 names on score sheet 3 of them who dd not find net on Saturday.
Negperts will be not knowing what to do with themselves.
Maghoma and Nuhiu played really well.
Do not want to upset NDS but we now look to have signed some talent. Anyone listening to player will have heard David Prutton do an excellent pundits role, he also provided some excellent insight into why things have improved under Gray.
Clear DJ was not getting hs message across to players.

2.) Why do people keep referring to other fans as Negsperts?
What does it mean anyway?
If you think about it the majority of negative observations about Jones over the past 12months or so proved to be mostly correct?
So you could say it was the Pos-sperts who were wrong?
Surely all genuine fans are entitled to an opinion without trading insults!
In any case most of the people referred to as "that stupid word" are outsiders posting just to stir things up, not our fans at all and you play in to their hands!
Think about it, please.

3.) I honestly think that the majority of negative comments were from genuine owls fans although accept that some are from imposters trying to stir up trouble. The negsperts tag, although not one I've used myself does carry some validity. A number of posters do have a very negative view, possibly because they still see us as a prem club when we are far from it. They show little patience and as it has turned out our fortunes have improved since dj left. However I guess the same fans were calling for his head last season before he turned things around. Now I'm not his biggest fan but I don't think all the negativity displayed by our fans helps. Many football fans these days demand instant success which is usually not possible. Many have slagged off our players as not good enough and we are now seeing that they can play a bit. So let's all try harder to pull in the same direction and keep this momentum going. WAWAW

4.) We did not play well tonight, but in the end we won by a score that flattered us and thus papering over the cracks.

5.) All you have to do in a cup game is get through to the next round - I thought we did that?

6.) The final commnt here is grudging praise you feel as though they really wanted us to come a cropper. Against non league opposition always difficult. Accept we were not at our best but we kept plugging away and came away with fine result, a couple of years ago or less we would have lost. I thought a good illustration of how things have improved. Do feel we find it difficult to play high tempo pressing game when games close together. All midfield looked a little jaded compared with previous superb performances. Sincerely hope they are refreshed for weekend. Thought Nuhiu played really well and gave his all his performances are and the up.

7.) Thought we played well in spells, still thought nuhiu was terrible though

8.) I am very happy my team is playing better and winning and the signings DJ made Stuart Gray has managed to make good use of them and has improved them. Good coach who can motivate and organise average team to do better, SG has done this so far and may continue! Alex Ferguson always got the best out of his players even the average unknown ones because of his vision and good coaching ability, SG has so far mirrored that well in the last few games. (NDS)

9.) The term Negsperts was coined as a few of our fans are/were totally unrealistic and comments always focussed on negative aspect even though they were positives. Clearly they had another agenda which was either to resurrect fan ownership (living in walter mitty land) or get Megson reinstated (impossible with MM in charge). The NDS comments were a good example saying no decent signings which has been proved to be garbage.
Fully accept DJ removal has shown he had limitations and I for one have been surprised by improvement in form. In hindsight Terry Burton was chap responsible for our promtion and last year improvement was down to SG. This season DJ must have tried to use his philosophy again and it failed. He clearly is not the coach I thought he was and better of being a manager looking at wider picture. His legacy is we have a better structure at club and hopefully one which we can build on. My faith in him as a football coach was misplaced and happy to admit this.

10.) I posted the plea to drop the use of "the term", mainly because the debate just plummets to a slagging match and surely we can all have differing views?
At the end of the day we all want the same outcome - a successful team/club!
Just wanted to say a big "Well done!" To the " misplaced faith" poster for being honest enough to admit that he has changed his view to some extent - an example for us all, me included?
Also I too listened to Prutton on Player last night and he was superb!
Eloquent and witty and without saying too much he gave some clues to the differences in how the 3 Owls managers he's worked under at S6 operate.
Thing that stuck more than anything was set-plays. Megson saw them as a big opportunity so a lot of practice, DJ no practice at all, Gray has brought the focus back on to set plays, teamwork, and preparation.
There were other hints and comments which were pulled out of him as well that indicated that Gray has a tremendous amount of respect from all the players. Hope we can cash in on that.

11.) DJ did see set plays as an opportunity to score. Just at the wrong end of the pitch.

12.) Yes agree Prutton was revelation and helped me understand what had gone wrong. You are correct he explained differences and it sounds to me as though SG understands requirement to embrace all aspects of game. Absolutely delighted we have got it sorted and look forward to more progress.
