This is called Sheffield Wednesday rumours page, not Sheffield Wednesday moaners page! The take over will happen when the league ratification is complete. Until that point it is interesting to think of possible comings and goings under the new regime. I for one am very excited.

What's this I've seen popping up on certain sites. Wednesday talking to Johnny Howson next week?! I'd take him!

1.) Forget that! Howson recently signed a 4 year deal to stay at Norwich until 2018.
Where do these rumours come from? Wishful thinking with no substance in many cases!

What are people's views on Onyewu?!
I'm pretty sure he will be on a decent wage but in all the reports I've read he doesn't seem overly commited to the cause!
He's 'exploring his options' and 'may still remain at Sheffield Wednesday'
In my opinion we should tell him to take it or leave it as I'm pretty sure there are a lot younger options out there, probably not demanding as high a wage! He's 32 yrs old, yes he had a few good games, but he also had a couple of shockers too!
Glen Loovens on the other hand. Different class!
Really hope we can get him to resign and with a young cb alongside him to teach the ropes, I believe that's a better option.
