It is clear that we haven't had much money to spend in this transfer window; but I agree with some other supporters that jones could have done better wheeling and dealing in the transfer market - particularly with players out of contract. But who do people think we particularly missed out on. Here is my list:
Defence midfield (instead of giving prutton a new contract) - craig eastmond (released by arsenal) or frederic veseli (released by man utd)
Attacking midfield (instead of coke) - Harry forester (out of contract at brentford) or Alan judge (free from notts county) - both can actually pass a ball!!
Forwards (to replace o'grady) - chris Martin (released by Norwich) or out of contract 20 goal Walsall striker will grigg (both have already scored 2 goals this season).
I realise because of there age forester and grigg would need a fee but relatively small by the looks of it.
Who else do you think we missed out on? (especially by giving some very average players new contracts. )

I've never posted before, I've just enjoyed reading the posts. But on hearing the news about the possible signing of chopra I felt I needed to post something. My best mate is a Ipswich fan and he is just laughing at us if this happens. Ipswich are desperate to get rid of him. Not only is he useless and a gambling addict, apparently he's lazy and a bad influence in the depressing room (sound like a certain forward from last season!). So while Ipswich sign good free transfer players like mcgoldrick and Berra, we're going to be stuck with an overpaid lazy striker (for 2 years or knowing jones 3 years - just to increase the financial burden when were relegated). Rant over!

1.) Stockport owl you are spot on in everybody you say I agree with u 200 % 18. 000 k for a lazy greedy under performer with his off field addiction heard the big man likes a flutter too

2.) If you think we will pay 18,000 perek wages you will believe anything. Jones has already said n way we could pay 22,000 per week for a very good player.

3.) We sudenly have a new theme on these pages individuals postig for first time. Then supported by our old friend negative expert.
If a an east anglian newspaper report is enough to make you write in for first time I would be astonished.
The facts as stated do not add up and yet some folks assume its a fact.
