Surely the Takeover must be going through because he's sponsored our shirts and we're in for numerous players from France which must be through Mammodov's connections.

I was really supportive of MM and all he did for us. Would be disappointed if it falls through after MM talked so much about his own pre-vetting and only selling to right person.
Plus, folks on here have spent all mama's money three times over already!

I would just like somebody to tell us what is going on and why it has not gone through already. I have no idea how long these things normally take. But it didn't seem to take this long when MM took over. MM said it would have been ratified a couple of weeks ago. Some clarity and information, good or bad would help.
3.) SW I keep thinking the same. Although the ratting seems to be taking forever I'd have thought any neg's that FL see as real show-stoppers would have leaked out by now. All the shenanigans going on in France are unlikely to affect FL decision & unless he's recently gone bust or the rumoured 'arrest' makes him an unfit and non-proper person to own a football club in England there can't be any reason for it NOT to happen. can there?
4.) When MM sold Leicester, it took 10 weeks to be ratified.
Reading are due to be sold today, if there takeover gets ratified before ours does, this is when I will start to worry!

Guys it can take 3 - 4 months to go through. The only thing MM has done wrong is announce it early in my view. Lots of documents to go through and pass to the Football League. Have faith it will happen, i'm 100% sure :)

Jamie o'hara has come out and said he is willing to take a pay cut to play football as he has been frozen out at wolves. Worth a year?
9.) Mamma didn't break the story early it was the French Press that got the story due to the Lens connection - MM has already said that they would have waited longer to announce I they had the option

Thanks for your replies, I didn't take notice of anybody else's takeover so I have no idea how long these things take Don't know why MM said it would be completed in a few weeks, but it probably was well intended, as I believe he has done a great job for us and contrary to what many others think he does have the best interests of the club at heart.
11.) I agree O'hara would be a good signing he was quality when he played for Tottenham.
12.) AstonOwl29 think he had no choice to announce the takeover last month, as the media was all over it and think fans would be very unhappy with a very slow activity with transfers

The Donny takeover has failed, according to Radio Sheffield because money and a business plan was not in place or words to that effect. Their takeover was announced a week after ours. Is it fair to say that if theirs has been turned down because they didn't have money and a business plan in place and our has not been turned down then the money and a business plan must be in place for our takeover and therefore it is on the way to being ratified?
14.) Sound plausible Derby, one more reason on the plus side. Come on FL, stop doing FA and get yer finger out!

We've just signed Claude Dielna on a 3 year deal French Centre Half released by Olympiakos.

Surely we need to bring in a Centre Half now Kehlar is out of the picture we can't go into the Season with 3 Centre Halves if we have any injury's we'll be in trouble and does MM think we'll just forget about the Takeover if there is no mention of it.

3 Permanent Signings so far and more to come.
Jermaine Jenas is a free agent if we could keep him fit he'd be quality.
He signed for Oxford last month.
We defo need a Creative Midfielder and a Winger if we get them in I think we'll be looking at Play Offs at least.
We should try and sign Jamie O'Hara I think he's been released by Wolves.
