Stuart gray on tv saying he expects to get job full time

Didn't see anything on tv myself about that but we seem to be doing everything economy class. All we have to do is look at the cheapest manager - the cheapest players and the cheapest way back to div 1 - -sorted and all for nowt (not bad business eh)

Perhaps you would like to point out what approach Leeds are using. Wednesday have move forward it is not as fast as we would like but progress there is. The development squad system has produced Lavery and we have other promising players coming through. In addition Palmer is steadily improving and on right path. The likes of Barclay and Wickham ae high quality players which we would be unable to afford, only a fool would think you are better buying a £300,000 player and expect them to perform better than highly promising Premiership youngster. Look at promotion winning championship teams and look how many loan playes they have.

We could do with retaining some sense here. People are talking about us not spending. It's not an owner's requirement bankrolling football clubs spending on players. They are a business, and profits should fuel spending. We owe MM money from the takeover still as far as I am aware. Rightly so, we are a business NOT a charity. Blame those that got us into debt. Not the man who took on that debt. You are doing the equivalent of hating the CO-OP bank for lending us money. If he starts bankrolling all these transfers it would probably be in the form of further loans.

There is no point looking at other clubs spending. We don't have parachute payments, and we are being run sensibly. If you want to run a business to sell it, you have to prove it is not hemorrhaging money and is efficient. Spending millions on new players (who aren't guaranteed to want to be here) just to say we have "some new faces", which is seemingly what people are calling for, will never find a credible buyer.

MM is rightly taking his time on the manager. We are winning games, so there is obviously no need to rush. When we sack a manager, we have to pay them off for the remained of their contract unless they agree to a settlement fee. Why would you hastily rush into getting a manager when we are winning and the cost of getting it wrong is significant. To be frank, half our transfer budget is probably paying off Dave Jones. And that is the reality of how the world works, there may be some incorrect assumptions in there, but the large points are there. I think we need to be realistic. We have a good feeling around the place, let's see where it takes us in the coming difficult games. Stay realistic. WAWAW.
