Wages could be a problem think he's on around 22k a week. We may be able to offer him more football than he's getting now but will he be willing to take let's face it a massive pay cut

My mates a Newcastle fan and he hates him, I'm sure he'd be a far better signing than Howard or Davies though, I would however put greater focus on signing lita rather than him as he has proven his worth already at hillsborough

Could be a good signing if he does come, I seem to remember him doing quite well for Newcastle in the championship. Remember last year we got a great signing on decent wages in Kirkland so so might happen again this year.

Newcastle fans hate any striker who's not Shearer, they are never happy! I'm not a fan of the big man, but I remember him playing at SWFC a few years ago for Stoke (on loan) and he tore Beavers apart, he could be a massive handful at Championship level, if he can be bothered to drop down a level.
